Last Thursday, the City Central at the HAC was humming with activity, with over 450 guests in attendance, this prestigious event was filled with excitement and hopefulness.
On the Thursday 22nd November, clubs such as Everton, Manchester United, Liverpool and Barcelona were amongst the crowd at the HAC, along with outsiders and smaller clubs. The gorgeous venue was brought to life by the pristine decorations and our beautiful CG Elite models.
The Football Business Awards recognises the hard work business units within the clubs are responsible for. From the behind the scenes work and off-pitch activity, to the professional services and businesses dedicated to supporting clubs and the game itself. The event has truly grown and matured since the first ceremony in 2012.
The HAC’s guests had the chance to mingle with like-minded people in the football industry over drinks, they could also enjoy the stunning and lively environment. There were awards being presented for the use of technology, the standards of hospitality, fan engagement and so much more. This was truly a night to remember!
Our very own CG Elite models welcomed guests and established the mood for this prestigious event. Our well-presented staff made sure every guest felt welcome and cared for. The Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards in partnership with TSB, which took place at The Grosvenor House this year, was truly a memorable Awards Night.
The Award Ceremony celebrates the achievements of remarkable individuals who make our world a better place. The nominees are from all sorts of industries, walks of life, of all ages, different backgrounds, and from all over the country.

This year’s London Venue Awards have certainly reached new levels of greatness. Here at CG Elite Events we are delighted to have had the pleasure of partnering with London Venue Awards and taking part in contributing to such a successful day.
Venue owners and exclusive guestlist attendees from around London gathered on the afternoon to celebrate the deserving venues from around the city. With a thrilling 19 award categories, all were intrigued to find out who which nominees would be taking the trophies home.
The guests enjoyed exquisite live entertainment throughout the drinks reception and luncheon, followed by the long anticipated Awards Ceremony.
CG ELITE EVENTS was there to provide female models to work as hostesses throughout the day. Beautifully dressed in striking yellow dresses matching the London Venue Awards colours, well-presented and amazingly engaged with the guests. The models definitely did us proud and represented the high standards we pride ourselves with at CG Elite Events.
Glitz and glamour at awards ceremonies can take many forms. From lavishly decorated venues and food, to beautiful models and the excitement of the event awards ceremonies and events bring together many different people and companies to celebrate their achievements and successes. In this week’s blog entry we look to capture the spirit of awards ceremonies by speaking to Creative Awards, the UK’s oldest established awards maker. Based in the centre of Hatton Garden, Creative Awards have worked with the biggest brands and events in the world for over 40 years. We dive into their world of design in a guest blog by the company to understand how their custom awardsare made. We spoke with creative director Jack Carr on what awards mean to him and how they add that extra touch of magic to events.
How do you design your awards?
We started to design the award by the process we use across the board which is getting to the heart of the event that the award is commissioned for. Awards – and we have spent a long time thinking about this as you can imagine – are definitely more than the sum of their parts. They capture and carry the messaging and branding of the event and it is vital for ourselves to understand what the award is for and the company behind it.
What events do you like designing awards for?
That’s a great question. As you can imagine, we work with many different types of events and each one is the chance to push our creativity and understand the ceremony or business behind the award. We have a lot of experience both personally and professionally within film. Not only do we make the awards for the Empire Film ceremony and the Evening Standard film awards, but we also love working with film festivals because we all used to write and direct films. Our staff have backgrounds in media, film and television and have worked on various productions over the years.
What do awards mean to you?
For us, awards are both visual and tactile. The physical weight of an award adds to its overall experience, and with this particular award we wanted to make it from a solid piece of aluminium so that it has a real weight and presence to it. To finish, the awards were engraved, hand polished and individually packed.
What’s your favourite award?
That’s a tough one! I’m sure it’s the same with yourselves and your events, each is unique and almost feels like having to choose between a favourite child! There are awards that resonate more with me and others that don’t. One of my recent favourites was the awards we made in conjunction with Jamie Hewlett, of Tank Girl and Gorillaz, for the Teenage Cancer Awards. Not only was it amazing to work with someone who I personally admire but the event itself is very special too.
